About EMma
I'm a fourth year public relations major at the University of Georgia. I am also pursuing a sports media certificate and hope to do media relations in the athletic field post graduation.
I am the oldest child of four and am very close to my family. My dad graduated from UGA, so coming to school here was a natural choice, and I have loved every semester. I currently am involved in my sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, Relay for Life and PRSSA on campus. I love going to all of the football games and other sporting events as well as spending time trying the restaurants in Athens. I also love to be outdoors and take every opportunity to take a new hiking or road trip adventure.

After graduating in May, I hope to get a job in a PR firm before joining a sports organization as their media relations representative. I joined EDIT 2000 because I think there are many different tools in order to present information creatively that I am unaware of. In my previous internships they were looking for new ways to organize things like news letters and summary reports that were more engaging and interactive than Powerpoint. That is when I first used Wix and was exposed to the idea of using things like Canva and Flipgrid. I would love to gain a better understanding of these tools in order to use them in my professional life.
